Nine Good Teeth had its Canadian festival premiere on Sunday, October 5th at the recent Calgary International Film Festival (http://www.calgaryfilm.com/). A big grazie to Andy, Monique, David and Domenic and all the awesome staff of the festival.

We celebrated an early birthday late into the night for Nana on Thursday, September 4th at the Jacob Burns Film Center in beautiful downtown Pleasantville, New York at a "special one-night stand" screening. Our thanks to Abby, Christin, Brian and the loads of well-wishers. We hope to be back one day...

Nine Good Teeth took home the Best Documentary Award from the Sonoma Valley Film Festival "Cinema Epicura" in April. www.sonomafilmfest.org We wouldn't have been there without the unwavering support of Festival programmer (and so much more) Chris Gore (www.filmthreat.com) We salute and toast you Chris! and all those involved and in attendance. A glorious week indeed!
Nine Good Teeth won the prestigious Audience Award presented by Dewar's (Nana's drink of choice, we swear!) at the recent Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival: Images of the 21st Century in Thessaloniki, Greece, Feb. 28-March 9th.
It was indeed an honor to be selected by members of a smart, sensitive and above all, deeply emotional audience. We thank all involved at the festival and promise to post pictures on the website very soon.
Nine Good Teeth was awarded the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the Director's View Film Festival in Stamford, Connecticut Feb. 13-17th. Judges included critics David Ansen of Newsweek and Janet Maslin. Thanks to all who attended!
